Combined Arms 0.83 - Pre Release #3 is now avaiable!

Hello ladies and gentlemen!Inqubi, the leader of Combined Arms, has published a new version of Combined Arms called Combined Arms 0.83 - Pre Release #3. Combined Arms is a mod for OpenRA that emulates the old Command & Conquer games gameplay and brings five factions to the battlefield: Allies, Soviets, GDI, Nod, and Scrin. It features new units and support powers for these factions. It also features new graphics and sound effects. Here are the official words about Combined Arms 0.83 - Pre Release #3:

  • 3rd, 4th and 5th campaign missions "Deliverance", "Containment", "Machinations".

  • Improvements and difficulty tuning for first two missions.

  • Overhauled mission scripts and AI.

  • Added all maps from RAGL seasons 12 and 13, and a bunch of team game maps.


==== Balance
---- General

  • Halved the build time penalties for 2nd+ infantry/air production structures.

  • Reduced air production structure cost to 650.

  • Increased time taken for repair cooldown stacks to wear off.

  • Increased HP of tech buildings (radar, tech center, tier 4) from 100k to 110k.


---- Allies

  • Slight increase to anti-heavy damage of Artillery.

  • Added additional splash radius vs heavy armor for Artillery/Rocket IFV.

  • Reduced Sniper damage vs light armor.

  • Slight reduction in Prism Tank/Cannon damage vs heavy armor.

  • Increased Harrier damage vs buildings.


---- Soviets

  • Slight increase to anti-heavy damage of V2/V3.

  • Added additional splash radius vs heavy armor for V2/V3.

  • Reduced Flak Armor damage reductions on Brute.

  • Increased Seismic Sukhoi damage vs buildings.


---- GDI

  • Slight increase to anti-heavy damage of Warthog/Bombardier and Hailstorm missiles.

  • Increased Orca Bomber damage vs heavy armor.

  • Increased Jumpjet/Bombardier damage vs light armor.

  • Increased Warthog HP from 27k tp 28k. Increased damage vs buildings. Adjusted so that damage vs buildings is consistent regardless of building size or direction of attack.

  • Increased Aurora HP from 16k to 18k. Increased damage vs buildings.

  • Increased HP of AGT from 48k to 50k.

  • Increased HP of Sonic Tower from 42 to 45k.


---- Nod

  • Slight increase to anti-heavy damage of Artillery/Howitzer/Comanche/Cyborg

  • Added additional splash radius vs heavy armor for Artillery/Howitzer and for Tib Core missiles.

  • Increased splash damage of Banshee.

  • Slight speed increase for Flame Tank and Heavy Flame Tank.

  • Increased HP of Cyborg Elite by 1k (from 38k to 39k).

  • Slightly increased Flak Armor equivalent bonuses of Cyborgs with armor upgrade.

  • Reduced Comanche cost from 1900 to 1800.


---- Scrin

  • Increased Scrin shield strength.

  • Increased Leecher Orb healing a little.

  • Increased Gun Walker range by 0c512.

  • Increased Shard Walker damage vs light armor slightly.

  • Increased Stormrider damage vs buildings.


==== Fixes/Misc

  • Improved faction validation so captured buildings should unlock the right stuff most of the time.

  • Fixed entrenched Engineer not undeploying. Improvements to behaviour of other deployable infantry.

  • Fixed Devastators sometimes getting stuck in a loop not firing.
