The ModDB's Mod of the Year event's results are slowly being revealed, once all player voting has ended last saturday. Today, they've revealed the Editor's Choice. Player choice's for unreleased mods should be revealed on december 27th and the released mods goes live on 29th.
I'm usually not a fan of the editor's choice, as they usually tend to pay more attention to shooter games rather than other genres, hardly taking into account the games we cover here, I must admit that at least one of their choices has positively surprised me.
Our hosted mod Twisted Insurrection has been acknowledged with the community award. Here's a snippet:

And, in the name of Project Perfect Mod, I also congratulate Twisted Insurrection. I've been a fan of this mod since its beggining and I've witnessed the absurd amount of work this team has placed... not just in its community, but specially in the mod itself, which is a "must play" mod for any Tiberian Sun mod.
This is the first time that a modification hosted in PPM gets any kind of award at the ModDB.com Mod of the Year awards. I just hope it is the first of many others to come.
Note: I'm still thinking about any kind of prize or something to show some recognition for TI here for this award. Any suggestions are welcomed.
